New U2 DVD

Getting off subject, U2 released a new DVD yesterday. Its of a concert they did at Slane castle in 2001. This is where they recorded the famous "Unforgettable Fire" video and album. I haven't gotten it yet, but looking forward to seeing it. I know fans that flew all the way to Ireland for this particular show too.

When you get the DVD, can you post the setlist for it? I am really into 1980's U2, but ever since the 90's rolled around, I could not get into them. I know I am crazy, I am one of the very few people who doesnt like the Achtung Baby record...but anyways, I would be very interested in this DVD if it has lots of songs from the 80's...

Ok, I need to get a hold of myself. This dvd is more than worth the money. I had chills watching this over and over since I got it! Lemme tell you, it's alot better than the Elevation 2001 Live From Boston dvd. I mean, U2 - Ireland - 80,000 people, should I go on? Here's the setlist : Elevation

That's right J.J!!! I've only seen them once in concert and it was a month after this was taped. I get the same feeling as if I was at their show when I watch this. This particular show was very emotional for Bono, his father had passed a week before this show on Sep.1,2001. You won't be dissapointed!!

My heart is racing watching this DVD. Its great, and I love the song "Out of Control" in this, especially when Bono thanks his dad for the 500 pounds and Edge's father for them to go take that particular song to England. What a great concert this was. I love it that they included some real obscure old U2 songs. I looove U2 concerts Woohoo!!! :p I like it better than the Boston DVD (even though "The Fly" kicks major butt)

I know when You are mainly a true MAJOR U2 junkie if your in a U2 tribute band and still can't get enough of U2! I'm very bold to say I'm ONE big U2 fan and can relate with being an addict also. When they are touring next year , I'll be absent following them to as many shows as possible. I mainly have my job on the line when they are touring.
Their music is pretty awesome :cool:

U2 is my fav band. I will sell my whole Cheap trick collection just for a few more bucks to see alot more U2 shows. They are BY FAR the best bands of all time, they put on a great concert :)! I LOVE EM , I know theres alot of people that can relate to this that follow U2
