I would have like to have heard studio versions of Last Time and She's Waiting For You. Since Zebra4 has taken so long, I suggested to Randy that he put those two on the disc as bonus tracks... Unfortunately it didn't happen.

Yepper, I only have live versions of "Why" "Free" and "KK Is Hiding" as part of a whole concert, would like to hear the studio versions or anything else as well! My curiosity with "Arabian Nights" was fortunately alleviated (very happily, I'll add) by the obvious...

Email me privately if there's a way to get my grubby little hands on any of this, thanks!:(

The correct answer is NONE. While DIRECTIONS and TO FIND YOUR DREAMS are both UNRELEASED, they have both been RECORDED. In fact, I somehow got Randy to play both yesterday at Bobby's party!

That's DIRECTIONS. Great song. Probably the first time he's played it in over twenty years. Everyone should start requesting it.

Any board member at the show can have a CD copy. That includes OU812 since he "called in".

Directions is a favorite, wouldn't mind a studio version of She's Waiting For You. I have an OK live version of Directions and an old WBAB studio version of She's Waiting.

OMG !!! As I type this I am listening to a CD Bobby burned for me. On it is this totally awesome F*%$#n song i've never heard before- "I'm Alive". I can't believe what I am hearing-this song rocks!!! It's so 80's, why didn't it ever get recorded? And, why haven't I ever heard it? Maybe it was only played in the early years when I was still a youngster, too young to get into the bar.

I have to add to the list songs others have mentioned already:
-Directions
-To Find Your Dreams
-Monkey Man

Gotta go listen to it again...I'm Alive!

Somewhere in my archives, I have a demo tape of the 3.V sessions. There are two versions of a song that was never released nor played live (slightly different intros) . Most of y'all probably do not know it. I am not sure of the title of the song, I'd have to check with Randy on it. But based upon the lyrics in the chorus, I would think it might be named "Only As Deep As Before". It's a great song that was unfortunately omitted from 3.V, but you can tell definitely that it has the 3.V sound.

With out a doubt it would be "Directions" I have a live version but a nice clean studio recording would be great. "She's Waiting For You" would be a close second. The live recording is great and I have a so so studio version, a new studio version would be great.

No, it is definitely not Directions as I had a live recording of that from many years ago. This song is totally different. Unfortunately, I can't copy anything unless I get Randy's permission as he is a close friend. Please understand.

I think you might be listening to "I'm Alive" from the Sign's debut album featuring Randy, Terry Brock, Mark Mangold, Billy Greer, & Bobby Rondinelli.

Ok you archive mongers(I'm slowly turning into one)----does anybody have the "rumored" California tape(songs they did when they took the trip to California)?

I'd be happy with having any studio versions(or demos) of:

Directions
To Find Your Dreams
The Last Time
She's Waiting For You(the version they play now is drastically different from the 80's)
All The demos comprising 1st and 2nd CD.......and third(if any are out there).

I have a recording of Felix's "Odd Fellow's Rest" that my friend here in Houston sent me. He said he had searched for it for 4 1/2 years and finally found it. Let me know if anyone wants it e-mailed to them.

And if this is a real "Gem" that everyone would really love to have, I'm more than happy to share it with any of you. I do ask, that you remember my original request about "Videotapes??" that if anyone had(and I know there are some recent ones that have been made)any whole shows with new music on it, would share one with me? I'll send a tape and return postage if anyone's willing to share with me. Thanks.

I have the California Demos and none of the "unreleased" songs were recorded during those sessions. At least not played on the radio. The California Tapes have most of the tunes from the First Album plus Summers Gone.

A demo of She's Waiting For You was recorded during the Douglaston Demo Sessions along with early recordings of most of the tunes of the first album plus Bears, Hard Living Without You and Summers Gone.

There should be copies floating around some place. I've definitely seen links to them on some prior threads.

Free, To Find Your Dreams, Last Time, and My Life Has Changed were recorded during the Mad Hatter show and played a few times on WBAB back in the day.

If you can't find them then let me know and I'll email a couple.
