Come on, anything Quentin Tarrantino directs is pure amazing art! Not many directors can make me feel that way except, David Lynch, Martin Scorsese, Paul Thomas Anderson, & Kevin Smith.

Hey Nomad, I'm dyin' just thinking about that movie......it was the most stupid, tacky movie ever but I laughed my ASS off! What was Jay's line to the girl he liked? "F*ck bunny" or something like that? I need that one in my library.
Oh, and Kill Bill will be viewed as soon as the hubby gets home. Tarantino Rocks.

My favorite stuff with Jay is the first. "Clerks".

More classic stuff. Did you know Kevin Smith had originally intended the movie to end with Dante getting blown away by a robber?

Yes, that scene was in the "extras" on the laserdisc I copied when I first saw "Clerks". It's probably on the DVD also.

THIS JUST IN!... Miramax and writer/director Quentin Tarantino are planing on streching the "Kill Bill" series into 4 parts. As you know "Kill Bill Vol.1" was released on October 10th, and "Kill Bill Vol. 2" is going to be released on Feb. 23. Well, they are splitting it into "Kill Bill Vol. 3" and "Kill Bill Vol. 4" (supposedly, not definete). Miramax just wanted to make it go up to "Vol. 3" but since trilogy's are so popular Quentin Tarantino decieded to do something different and make it into 4 parts. On opening weekend for "Vol. 2", after each showing of it right after the film before the credits you will see the first trailers for "Vol. 3". And if you look real closely in the trailers you can see the trailers for "Vol.4" on a t.v.!
Man I can't wait. Quentin is a pure genius. "Kill Bill Vol. 1" rocks, it is the #1 movie in america and is getting rave reviews! Think of the money the are going to make on Vol. 1-4 total! I can't wait!

Finally saw this movie and although it was entertaining, it is a far cry from Tarantino's "best work." Unfortunately, Pulp Fiction will always be Tarantino's pinnacle. And the only reason I say 'unfortunate' is because he is so young. If he is lucky enough to live another 50 years, he may eclipse Pulp Fiction.
One minor note: in the theater were people who chose to bring their young children. I saw a little boy, about 3 or 4 and a little girl, maybe 6. How f@cking stupid does a parent have to be to bring a child this young to a movie that is #1, rated R and #2 a Tarantino movie? There were scenes with decapitations, limb dismemberments and blood gushing like a water hydrant. That kind of stupidity is BEYOND anything I understand.

Nobody ever said "Kill Bill" is Quentin's best work. "Pulp Fiction" is his best work to date but he has written many scripts since "Jackie Brown" I expect him to make a movie that is better than "Pulp Fiction", eventually.
