I think he's 49 today D-man. Born on Oct. 10, 1954.
Dunno if he's out of the hospital yet, but at least he has a good sense of humor about the thing. On the davidleeroth.com website, he has a cartoon about the incident.

Drugs and alcohol seem to make you LOOK older. (wink!)

For example, I am only 33 but I look like I'm 53!:D

Oh contrair mofrair, :D Mr. Roth was born in Bloomington, Indiana in the year of our lord 1954. Check out his book "Crazy From The Heat" or just click here! (http://www.classicvanhalen.com/bios_dlr.shtml)

It just amazes me that Bloomington could produce David Lee Roth and John Mellencamp. What diversity!!!

So it's going to be like that eh? Let me move on over to my other source..."Crazy From The Heat" written my Mr. David Lee Roth.

Class if you would please open your books to page 12, under the title "LOOKING IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR"

Now, who would like to read for us today? Mr. Doorman, I see you have your hand raised...impressive. Why don't we let GuitarPLYR read for a change. Please begin.

"I was born in Bloomington, Indiana October 10, 1954. My active memory starts when I was two years old. I remember sitting in a high chair. I remember I had to wear Dennis Brown splints, braces, on my legs. I had to sleep with them, too. So immediately, I had a major traumatic thing happen; I couldn't crawl around. Wore them until I was four or five.
That was not a happy point in my life, because..."

Uh..Um...That's enough Mr. Player...only one paragraph per student. Uh...Mr. Doorman, you may now read the next paragraph.

:D

I will concede. And just for the record....I NEVER had my hand up!
But you have to admit, their ARE some places that list his DOB as 10-10-1955. Margaritas for Mr. GP!!!95 minutes 'til my 1st one!

LOL!! Yes sir, I do admit that some places list the man's B-day as 1955, but I have to go with what is in his book. If I can make it to NYC, I will take you up on the drink. I'm working on it!

Now, this is the way to end a good debate. Take note all you newbies out there. Don't come in here and battle with us brainiacs unless you are sure about your opinion. Afterward, a simple gesture to the champion, instead of running with your tail between your legs would be nice.

Kudos!
