Today would have been John's 63rd birthday. Some often wonder what he'd be up to had he lived.............

Macca, I'm sure you're having a depressing day. Hang in there, it's almost over.

Yoko has always wished that people remember John's birthday rather than the day that coward shot him. Either day, many across the world are remembering John for all he gave us and how big an influence he was.
You're right Bayougirl, this is a depressing day. Dec 8th is much more. Not because he died, but the manner in which he passed.

I believe he would still be up to making music. He, along with McCartney and Harrison, were just incredible song writers and musicians. May he rest in peace.

Paul,
Have you been to the Dakotas or Strawberry Fields in New York? Very moving experience for me.

Happy birthday John! Still missing you...Life is what happens to yoy while your busy making other plans...
I can remember the exact place I was when I heard the news. As a major Lennon fan I was crushed. Went to the Dakota that night. What a scene. Cried my eyes out. Went to the park after that. I remember it was snowing and cold. I am actually in a couple books as I had made a huge sign that night. A couple of Christmas's ago my sister gave me a piece of his art work. It is my pride and joy! There is an art dealer in Long Beach that deals with Yoko all the time. I had it framed and matted there. Its called "Smile #5" Great gallery if you are Lennon fan. My dream would be to own "Bed Peace" The last time I checked it was over 10 grand and that a while ago! Dare to dream...
John Lennon is rocking the heavens...

John is sadly missed by music fans everywhere and fondly remembered.
DW - (Macca hasn't been to NY,-yet?) When I was in NY last, I took one of those carriage rides through Central Park. My sister & I convinced the driver to stop at
Strawberry Fields to see it & take some photos.....There always seem to be flowers and pictures there still.....

Dreamer,
I remember where I was also when the news about John came about. Was watching Monday Night Football when Cosell broke the news. I was totally shocked, floored and NUMB! Went to work the next day(still numb) and many I worked with just didn't understand why I was feeling this way. I just looked at them, and told them....."you just don't understand". The ones who followed music did, but the others........ True, never met the man, but he meant so much to our lives.
