For you Dallas people......and anyone in the area, this should be a great show!!!! This from his website.......

November

Join Eric Johnson for an evening of solo acoustic music including piano and guitar compostitions and check out the "unplugged" version of EJ's tunes. These acoustic shows will be in intimate places with great acoustics so try to check out the shows if you can.

8th/Sat - McNair Studio at Bass Concert Hall - Fort Worth, TX

Other Texas dates are being announced soon so check back daily!

Enjoy.

I know. I know. I want to go! I am on Eric's distribution list and received an e-mail about two weeks ago to purchase tickets before they went on sale to the public. Tickets are over $40, but it is a small venue and should be an incredible experience.

That is the day after the Rock 4 X-MAS show at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas.

Isn't that the same day as the Rock4Xmas in Dallas? :(

David,

Yep...don't need to be a genius to figure that one out. Since I am helping with the promotions of Rock 4 X-MAS and will be working at the show here in Dallas, looks like I will have to unfortunately catch the Eric Johnson acoustic show some other time. With an open date between the Dallas show on the 8th and Memphis on the 10th, I should have some time to talk with Randy about some ideas and plans I have for him and Zebra.

Any of you Houstonians (is that correct?) considering coming up here for the Rik Emmett show on October 25 or 26??

So is Rik playing the 25th AND the 26th?
Can I assume that the 25th is the "network" show and the 26th is teh "meet and greet"?

You are correct! They are actually both 'network' shows...but Sunday is both an all-request and meet-and-greet show.

Don't even get me started on the revolving Dallas Rock 4 X-MAS show...found out last night that Dallas is now a no go. As of last night (October 9), we have

San Antonio - Nov. 6
Austin - Nov. 7
Houston - Nov. 8

But do not take that as gospel just yet. I would be interested in a little road trip to Austin on that Friday. Hmmm...then the Eric Johnson show in Fort Worth on Saturday.

I am not making any decisions until this 'mess' is straightened out.
