ROCK 4 XMAS TOUR SET TO BENFIT CHARITIES:

New York, NY- When Wayne Morrison walked out of the Station nightclub fire in Rhode Island alive, he knew what he wanted to prioritize in his life. For the past six years Morrison has been developing and touring Rock 4 Xmas, and this is the year that he feels it will all come together.
Rock 4 XMAS is a foundation that helps provide toys and the overall Christmas spirit to less fortunate families across the country. A major sponsorship with the Hard Rock Cafe has progressed Rock 4 XMAS by leaps and bounds.
A 30+ city tour will be begin on October 30th in Salt Lake City, UT with many 70's, 80's & 90's stars of the music business to perform. This year star performers will be backed by a core band featuring Randy Jackson of Zebra, Terry Ilous from XYZ, Paul Shortino from Quiet Riot, Michael Vescera from Yngwie Malmsteen, Carmine Appice from OZZY & Vanilla Fudge, Greg Douglas from Steve Miller Band and many more!!! Star performers in select cities include Spencer Davis, Larry Hoppen, Rick Derringer, Tony Montana, Mark Farner & Eddie Money.

ZEBRA actually did this last year at Don Hill's. It was a bunch of bands that played that night. Zebra played about 9:30PM - StiX and I were the only message board crew there.

We heard later from Randy that the money they made at the door, someone stole. I think it was the guy at the door. This year sounds like the guy who's organizing it is doing better and OMG - Terry from XYZ - I can't miss this show!

They actualy cancled one of those show's back in December and did'nt even mention it on the board. Zebra was suppose to play at a place called "the world "in Manhattan If I did'nt call the last minute I'd have gone for nothing.

Thanks CR -I am Going this year to whatever New York shows there are too ! I missed the Crazy Donkey Gig last year but it was during a snowstorm -so from what I heard the only ones there were basically the bands - what a shame. Wayne Morrison [the promoter] is a great guy and there's no better way to celebrate Christmas than give to charity and we get to rock out at the same time !
