We can't find a baby sitter for tonight damn it! Plus I have a friend thats now gonna visit me tonight whose up from Houston and heads back tomorrow. Last chance to get together with him. I don't want to bring an eleven year old into the bar with us for a show that starts 10PM!
But next week I'm prepared. If worse comes to worse the Tracy will stay home and watch the Neal and I'll break away for an hour or two. Especially since its only right down the street from where I live.

my friend Jason, who probably will be at the mid-Oct. Zebra show at the Downtown, is Geoff Tate's friend and travel agent and has very high regard for Geoff, so I don't suppose he's an ******* or a *****! If you see me at the show with a 6'6" longhaired guy that's him and i'm sure he'll be happy to tell you what a swell guy Geoff is. And apparently if you befriend Geoff he will pick up expensive dinner tabs for you.
i actually accidentally snubbed on meeting Queensryche backstage when they were in Boston recently. Otherwise I'm sure i could be the envy of many of you.
For that, I'd envy you. I finally got to see Queensryche last fall at The Beacon theater...phenomenal show!

well Sue there's a good chance my friend Jason will come with me to the BBQ or the Downtown Zebra show, so maybe you can befriend him and become part of GT's inner circle. Actually, the guy in NYC who mixed the new Banter album (my band in case you hadn't guessed) was an engineer on operation mindcrime so between all these connections maybe I can hook you up. Just don't make Geoff's wife mad!
Yeah, the same week as that Beacon show is when I accidentally snubbed Geoff and the boys in Boston. I blew off a free ticket and backstage pass believe it or not, simply b/c i lost track of the time and didn't meet up w/the posse!
had it been Rush I would have had to cause myself physical harm!

ALDENTE's is but 10 minutes from where I lived. Never ate there but never took it as being a above average restaurant. Looks like a plain old place to me. Like an Olive Garden or something. If your ever up on Route 22 in Green Brook check out Mr. Assante's. Kick ass italian food. But you have to bring your own booze.
