i'll be at the Downtown !!! can't wait. Zebra sounds great there. they have an incredible sound system at the club. and it's actually clean, not like the days of going to sundance. maybe by then they'll announce a release date for the new cd.

I'm going to try and make it to The Downtown, it's an awesome pace to see Zebra play! Don't have a pic to send, but Bobby, you know what I look like.

Zebra4life and Rushtrader...if it's not too much to ask, please post/email a review of the YES show at the beach. I'm sorry I didn't get tickets but have seen them many times before. No doubt it will be a phenomenal show, as always. I'm going to see Rush on the 15th, can't wait.

As I am sure my name imples, I will be at Rush on the 15th as well. I already have recordings of Rush on this tour and they sound great! I am particularly looking forward to hearing Earthshine live.

Speaking of RUsh live - Hey Randy... How about The Spirit Of Radio live one of the Zebra days :)

They also did a great version of Spirits of the Radio. Heard it almost every time at the Mad Hatter of Stony Brook.

THAT WAS 1977...USED MY BRO'S PROOF OR WE DREW THE STAMP ON OUR HANDS AND GOT IN....ONCE THEY GOT TO KNOW ME THEY STOPPED PROOFING...ZEBRA WAS PLAYING EVERY SUNDAY FOR A WHILE AT THE HATTER...LONG ISLANDER'S ARE BLESSED!!!

Bad Animals is a national act line-up. It was formed
by Teddy Cook,former bassist for Dio and Great White.
In this project he will be playing guitar and keys. With a
little help from his friends, Teddy found the perfect Nancy
Wilson…..Gina Stile, former guitarist for Vixen and
the Poison Dollies.

Thanks to Gina, she got a couple of her friends to
play…..Bassist Mark "The Animal" Mendoza, who
has played for numerous national acts and on drums,
John Macaluso, who has played with Yngwie Malmsteen
and TNT. Deana, a singer from Long Island tops off this
project as the perfect Ann Wilson. Her last original project
was called Flight 19 (a hard rock CD produced by Teddy
Cook), and with a NY band called Atrium. This line-up is the
closest thing to the real thing…..Bad Animals rocks!

For those interested...In the July issue of L.I.E. (Long Island Entertainment) there is a review of Bad Animals, from when they opened up for Zebra at the June show @ The Downtown. Zebra is also mentioned in the interview with Fingers from WBAB - same issue.

Yes ZebraFreak, I was right up front with Ziggy and family. And, I plan to be up front again on 8/3!!! However, it looks like I may be at the show on 8/3 by my lonesome. I hope Ziggy and family are still going - oh yeah and Stevee also.

By the way, Bad Animals at the Village Pub was an awesome show. Just a great tribute band - very tight. I had to dust off my Heart CD's to give a listen - I forgot what good shit it was!!! And Deana is Teddy's wife.

Lastly if anyone listens to Opie & Anthony daily like I do everyday (yeah - I have no life!!) but I didn't know if anyone heard, but they were actually ragging on Bad Animals - sort-of. They happend to mention Mark Mendoza is now in a Heart Tribute band and they were like that's scrapping the bottom of the barrell and then either Opie or Norton said that the singer is probably 500 lbs. I wanted to call in to interject my 2 cents, but I didn't. I figured let them have their fun when they have no clue.

Aug. 3rd will be rockin'!

I think "Takin A Stance" is dead and buried, along with "No Tellin Lies!" Just my opinion...I happen to like both songs alot!
