Sorry that you share a birthday with this day of mourning. But you were one of those I mentioned in another post that supported me immensely on this day one year ago and I appreciate that very much!!!!! My birthday is on what I consider 'The day music died'. Well many may not consider it that and I was never a big Elvis Presley fan, but I recognize and realize the influence he had on Rock n Roll.

Thanks very much for thinking of me on this day. And, no need to thank me for my support. You and so many others who experienced this tragedy first hand were, and still are in my thoughts constantly. I can't even begin to think about how to process it all-to walk a mile in another man's shoes? Yes, it is unfortunate that my birthday falls on this sad day. But, I have chosen to pay my respect to all of those who were lost on this day 1 year ago and will celebrate my birthday this weekend. We must stand United...always.

Yep, August 16, 1961. And today I'm in as good as or better shape then I was at 20. And if this country needs to have a draft for military support I'm ready!
