Thought about going to see Petty but decided to head to Grand Isle instead for some, fishing & R&R. Haven't seen Petty yet, but it is on my list of things I want to do.

Youare in for a GREAT show. TP NEVER dissapoints. I've seen them 4 times and they seem to get better and better.
They were absolutely phenomenal during the "ECHO TOUR" and they played here last week with Bob Dylan. They "flip flopped" the headling duties for the 2 shows. I kinda missed Howie for the show, but .....what could ya do? Here's one of the set lists.....

Petty was awesome!!!!!!

Our seats were just a hair off center, first row....it didn't ****!
The crowd was cranked up and Petty responded ....
Lakefront Arena doesn't usually allow you to take pictures - but I snuck in a disposable camera and took about 12 shots.
Hope they come out good! My first time seeing Petty and I was NOT disappointed!

UNF'NBELIVABLE!!! Petty and the band came out with their guns loaded and put on a great show. The crowd was electric, which gave the band a BIG kick and it showed in the playing of the show. The set list was similar(little different order) to the one posted earlier......but The Waiting was dropped, and Fade Away and Baby Please Don't Go were plugged into the set.

Great sound, seats, and an all-around good time. Great bumping into Guy, seeing a few of my friends from other concerts and record shows, and saw a few classmates(HS) I haven't seen in at least 10 yrs.

I just hope Petty don't take another 8 years to come back. We need more shows like this!
