I received the following message today from Damon asking for help in promoting his new band, Red Halo:

Hello to everyone,
Many of you have written often and asked "what can I do to help with your various projects?" Now is the time, kids!
We need to sell as many copies of our Red Halo EP as we possibly can. The more "units" we can show that we've sold, the better our chances of securing a solid distribution deal, and ultimately a good deal with the right record label.

Please take a minute and go to this link: www.cdbaby.com/cd/redhalo

This enables anyone to purchase the disc online. As you can see, it's only $9.97. If you would be so kind as to forward this email to anyone you know that might be interested in the disc, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Understand that we're not trying to make money as much as we're trying to increase our "total number sold".

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks very much!!

Can't listen to their music without RealPlayer. I already have 4 different players on my computer.

Can you give us an idea of what kinda music these guys play?
I would be interested, but I need something to hear, or somebody they may resemble.

Thanks

reminded me a bit of the black crowes......

Joelzboy,

Did you book that show? I brought Damon to Texas (Houston and Dallas) last October and what a pleasure it was to work with him. Very modest and thankful that I provided him with the opportunity to perform in Texas again.

Swan,

Did you go to that show back in June? Great musician, great songwriter, and great person.

Well, I guess I can let you guys know. My plans for Randy Jackson's 5th annual solo acoustic show in Dallas includes having Damon Johnson open.

Check out the following link for an incredible solo acoustic CD:

Yeah, I was there. I waitress at the Village Pub, so I got to meet him & talk to him a little. I had always heard of Brother Cane, but I did'nt realize that I knew most of his songs until that night! What a great singer/songwriter. :D
