I remember getting an Atari 2600 and playing Space Invaders 'till my thumb had a blister. Then lying in bed, watching Don Kirshner's or Midnight Special, with April Wine music video on, and seeing the "Space Invaders", crawling across the screen, thinking there was a malfunction with the hardware. Thought the images were bleeding into each other! Then realized the music video had those images in it! Thought maybe I'd had one too many ludes in that day!:D

The Old Grey Whistle Test was a show based in England having artists of the day perform live. The show aired from 1971 - 1987. Some of the performances have been seen here on MTV and/or VH1.

I was way too young to watch these shows when they were on, but I did hear about them over the years and it ****S there are no shows like that on TV anymore. I have the Black Sabbath 1975 DKRC on video and it was AWESOME. I have a clip of AC/DC playing Sin City on that show as well. That must have been something special back then...My biggest childhood memories were from 1989-1994 watching the Headbangers Ball on MTV and for the 1st three years I watched that show, it was GREAT! Then Seattle came....ugh!

The Midnight Special was awesome! Every time I think of it, I can hear Wolfman Jack's voice saying: "Let the Midnight Special shine the everlovin' light on YOU"
Some great performances on that show.

I remember the Guess Who doing "Clap For The Wolfman" on the show. Wolfman was beside himself!

Hey, I've been wanting to see the Sabbath show for awhile. If you'd like to trade, let me know.
