Earl, you are in NEW ORLEANS and you can't find anything to do??
Try being in Clarksville, TN and finding something to do......when it's raining!

I seen the show on July 8th. One of the best. Just because Matallica can't write music anymore doesn't mean they can't play loud, hard and fast.

Loud, hard, and fast is right. Unfortunately, the acoustics where they played (Reliant Stadium) is not the best. I was lucky that I knew all of the songs.....except the 2 new ones....so I could hear every song. My nephews and the other younger kids around me were not so lucky. When the likes of "No Remorse", "Seek and Destroy", "Battery", etc....played, they were kinda lost.
In my opinion Limp Bizkit (and I'm not their biggest fan) stole the show. They were excellent.

Loud, hard, and fast....but can you actually hear anything past the low-end rumble? At least that's how their shows used to be......

No, you really can't hear it. Luckily, I could decipher the songs in my mind so I knew what to listen for.
I saw Metallica back in 1984 at a tiny club in Houston. There "may" have been 200 people there. They sounded AWESOME!! One of the best shows I've been to.
I saw them again around '88. They were opening for Ozzy in a large arena...........****ed.........I couldn't here anything. There were tooooo loud. Everything ran together. I swore I wouldn't see them again because I knew they would never sound like they did when I saw them in the club..........
Alas, 15 years later I'm taking my nephews. At least this time I knew what to expect...and I got it.
Seeing Bizkit was worth the price of the ticket though.
