mp3 station for Zebra fan musicians

It seems there are a lot of musicians in here, and I thought it would be cool to share our music w/each other. If anyone else has music of their own uploaded to mp3.com (or wants to upload it) let me know and I can create a "station" for us.

Hey, sounds good. I'd like to get out there any way i can, since i don't have a band anymre. I don't know enough about the mp3 site, but want to get one set up soon. So, I can be streaming audio, but no one can download? My only fear is > why woud someone buy my cd when they don't have to? Send me your address, and I'll send you a cd. P.S. on the Zebrafan station, I will post stuff by anyone in this forum, without imposing my highly opinionated personal musical tastes! if your stuff fits one of my other stations (you can find them at http://banter.ws "links" page - this also has links to other cool mp3 sites) I'll put your stuff on one or more of those as well.

Basically how mp3.com works is you have an artist page with your stuff on it, and also there are "stations" that will play a mix playlist of various artists.

it's like this. to be on an mp3.com station, you have to have an artist page there. Since you don't have one I can help you set one up. If you send me the CD I can make mp3s for you and upload them, but you should also try to get me a photo (email a dig. one or I can scan) and create you a page. You can control for each song whether or not people can download. It's not a bad idea to let people download a song or 2 so they can listen to them a lot whenever they want and really get them in their head so they want more (then they hopefully buy the CD). But if you want no downloads you can make it so.

you should also send me a bio of yourself which I can copy/paste into your page.
