What Randy ought to do is to just sell the album for like $20.00 here on the website. You will be able to download the entire album. Then, once the album comes out on CD, you would receive it in the mail. The true fans would have to agree to help promote it, not give the entire thing away on the internet. Once more and more people see it out there, would cause a frenzy of folks to come to the website to buy it themselves. I've emailed 4 radio stations in my area and are waiting for their return email. Again, since Zebra is not mainstream, it will take some time to get them out there again. I'm looking for other areas like Internet Radio that may want to play them. So, what is everyone else working on to help promote Zebra?

One big help would be to see if randy could look around all the rock bands web sites and see if he could add zebra to all of there links.

Actually, I'm looking to create a Zebra internet radio station from Live 365.com. Once I get it established, I can try and grab new listeners. It's a small price to pay, to try and promote them. I'll spend $20.00 a month, and try to get peoples attention to the door.com.

Hey, the link exchange thing is time consuming to contact people, and get it set up on sites, but it does work. Every link coud mean a whole new pool of fans that can't get to the shows. I was thinking of the internet radio thing too. I've seen a couple; two that i can think of off the top of my head > m4radio.com (they will play you), and hardradio, i believe?, and another one called stickman radio ?? Those internet stations are popping up all over. But, i don't know as much about it, as say, ylee. But really folks, everyone knows zebra just about; unless you've been under a rock, or are a kid who doesn't know what real music is. The internet should be maximized for this thing(release). The only thing i've actually done is tell people about the upcoming release, and directed them to the site. Ylee, you should get some more sponsors for live 365. for example > (20 sponsors paying a buck) I don't make a whole lot of dough right now, but i'd be willing to pitch in to see that happen. We coud load up that station with all kind of recordings. Sounds good to me.

I see a poll coming forth. I'll start one tonight from home. I tried this with Randy, he wanted me to get pricing, but Peter, the webmaster mentioned about doing a radio station kind of thing but, the only problem with that is only the people that visit the website, knows it exists. At least with Live 365, I can start brining in some new listeners, and have Randy upgrade the size to allow more features, and take over the costs. I'd pay for the first couple of months, and have you guys out there to push the station, which will have the link to thedoor.com.

a prime example of a link working: check out the new hello from a new member topic. The guy came here from melodicrock.com, and is telling his friends, etc. that's what i'm talkin about:)!

Hey, I'll do what ever I can to help spread the word. Got an email from 92.3 WCKW, they told me no, that Zebra is not the direction they are heading to. 1 down, 3 to go. I'm going to get with Peter on this internet radio, just to make sure he wasn't going to do anything, then he can place a link here. I'll probably start Saturday of this week. I'll post a message for everyone to try out.

gosh that seems harsh (getting that mail from wckw) That's where i heard zebra for the first time. I luv rooting for the underdog. Do you think if zebra sells tons on cd's on their own, that labels will start approaching them? ha ha.

YOU POSTRD Got an email from 92.3 WCKW, they told me no, that Zebra is not the direction they are heading to. yleek Thats why randy wants to put the cd out them selfs because of what just happened to you from wckw. no help from the radio stations around the world because there not 20 years of age and there music is to well done and clean. Its a shame but good music today is JUDGED BY AGE AND LOOKS.
I'll do what I can from here in the northeast coast...hit the radio stations in the tri-state area. WBAB(102.3), KROCK(92.3),WRCN(94.3),Q104(104.3) and WNEW(102.7). Maybe if we all contact the same radio stations around the same time-they will listen and start playing Zebra, old and new. ZEBRA,ZEBRA,ZEBRA- I Wanna Rock!!

Randy was on a local music show on Cox Cable in New Orleans this week and he said the new cd should be out in January or February. He also stated it may be available sooner at thedoor.com but he would not know that until next week, after a meeting in Houston.
