Not quite that far Robbo. I had to wake up early (6am...that's REALLY early for me) to be in Jackson, MS for 10am.
Houston would be nice though! I went there to see David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar last year. Actually it was the Woodlands, but it was an AWESOME show!!!! Did you go?

I'd pick "As I Said Before" because I enjoy playing it but it's not a 12-string song. Set up whatever with Ylee or whomever on drums and, whatever it is, I'll add bass.

It's been a while since I did that one. My Les Paul is down right now. I have to send it to my brother to have an electronic makeover and some minor cosmetics. If I only had a good preamp, I would get a 24 bit card and some good software. Sold the last bit of amplifier stuff a couple months ago. :(

That's why I said just pick whatever with a drummer and get it going. I won't have time to do it fir a few weeks anyway.

Cause I'm going to go with either a POD type thing or a Boogie 1X12 Nomad. (one day) Besides, I needed the money and got more than I paid for 10 years ago!

I have a Korg Pandora's Box that I like. I wouldn't play live with it but I like it for recording home demos without hassling with amps and mics. It's a lot cheaper than the POD.
The POD is great live if you like to use a lot of effects. I don't. I have a few guitar setups I use but, more often than not I use a little 65w 1x12 Fender Princeton and nothing else. My "big" rig is based around a Marshall but I rarely use it. I like the quick in and out with the little Fender. I usually face it back at me at the front of the stage like a monitor. It gets the job done for the type of gigs I play.
I'd love a Boogie! I also love Vox. Both are too pricey for me right now! Someday is right!!!
ok don;t it **** not having your amp though?

Yes, but that's why I have my acoustic. I had a 100W with a 520 watt 4x12 cab that would ring your ears, but it was heavy as a school bus headed for a chicken and watermelon fest!
now that sounds heavy, and also sounds like something ou8 would say.;)
