I just got a dual deck cd burner. a friend of mine gave me some teon blanks, but i'd like some cd-r's with nothing(writing) on them. I'm ignorant on this subject at the moment. I'm looking at some ten packs > tdk $5.99, taiyo yuden silver cd-r $6.99, maxima $9.99, or a single ceramic plated $1.99. Do the cheap blanks wear out, or what? Is there a difference? If you know of a good bargain on blank(no writing on them, just shiny silver) cd-r's, post it. thnks in advance

I found that the cheep cheep no name cdrs dont last . I also found out that the memorex works great and has been the best one to use in cars.

Ou812 Knows!

Do avoid the "No-Name" Brands.
They have a higher failure rate.

You know the saying "Get what you pay for."
Well...Spend the $$$ and get some good ones.

When it comes to Cassette Tapes (they still make these things!)...i am sold on TDK.
But on CD-R / CD-RW...i have had very good luck with Memorex.

CHEERS!

OU812, did you get my personal message I sent you? I'm pricing a MZR500PC, what's your price. You can email me at yleekiyote@aol.com with your specials on that model and up if you like. My wife wanted to buy me something for my B-day, and I told her I was interested in a new Mini Disc player/ recorder. Let me know!!!

7 cd-r's for sale. I got the wrong kind. I thought these were audio?! , but myburner says "wrong disc" or something. Only the audio kind work in my burner. I'm still learning this cd burning stuff. Check out my picture link of the cd-r's at the end of this message. I am still looking for some silver (like in photo below) "audio" cd-r's, no impinting on them. I got some at radio shack, but they were individually wrapped, expensive, and had imprinting/namebrand on them. I'd like bulk prices , like 50 at a time. comp usa maybe? I bought the ones below from musician's friend catalog; i forgot how much i paid, but if u send me 5 bucks, i'll send these 7 to you w/cases. send money order, or you can send pay pal. picture(for sale) > http://www.angelfire.com/indie/damiankidder/cdr.jpg
