If any of you are interested in truly supporting our troops not only in spirit but with concrete items....then....

there is a website called: www.operationshoebox.com

It has a list of items that our troops need not only in Iraq but for those still in Afganistan. You can put a care package together and send it to someone you already know who is serving or yu send it to operation shoebox and they will send it off to the troops on your behalf.

This IS a legitimate org. A friend of mine who knows a Marine that over in Iraq has sent stuff to him (and he's gotten it) and then told me about it!

StiX and I plan to do it and show our support. What's $50-$100 of stuff when they are fighting for us and our freedom? Go to your nearest Wal-Mart and/or Target. You can get alot of shit for a minimal cost.

Just thought I'd toss it out there to everyone..........

I think as the war gets worse (which it will) these things will be an even BIGGER comodity than they already are. Just think if we run out of something we can run to CVS, Wal-mart or Target and our troops are in need of US sending stuff. Oh the things we take for granted.

This sounds great! I was hoping to find something my son could do to show some support. He keeps asking me what he can do. This is perfect I can let him loose in CVS with his allowance.

Cool to get the kids involved! A good lesson for them and to show support. I'm gonna start putting my box together this weekend!

i'm not sure china rain but she's due to call any minute now and i'll ask

for easter we sent her a sh%t load of candy so they can have like an easter candy hunt,

and like once a week we send stuff to her and her buddies over there, like we sent the dvd of south parks first season of episodes and they were able to watch it through the computer
