I am getting very fed up with all these so called movie and rock stars bitching about the war and the President!! Why can't they just shut up and support our troops and be proud Americans!!? I am not a war monger but for crying out loud it is going on! Give it a rest and say a prayer for our troops! Tie a yelloow ribbon around a tree fly our flag! Do something constructive and stop your whining Hollywood!! Thanks for letting me vent!! :D

I totally agree! I mean I'm not for the war, but it's happening now, so let's just support our troops now. What about these anti-war demonstrations that are suppossed to be about peace and they break out it riots. Isn't that hypocracy at it's best!

Another huge problem that the protesters create is that they take the cops away from doing what they need to do as far as protecting the city during these high alert times. I work in Midtown right near Times Square and tensions are high. National Guard all over with rifles and machine guns, PA police with German Shephards. Do a few hundred police really need to be pulling people up from the street 'cause they feel like blocking traffic? Everyone, including the President (Gov't.) IS OPPOSED to war. Our gov't. would much rather spend a few billion dollars within our own borders, BUT "the consequences of inaction far outweigh the consequences of action!" You have to believe that they know what they're doing.

"The grass is always greener in someone else's lawn."

All these tree huggin saps should move to Iraq and see what it is like to live there. Every Anti-War squirrel out there is thinking "The US is just doing it for the oil." Bullshit, we are trying to bring a criminal to justice. Since when did the rules governing the U.S. become only for US? The UN council voted, we are the powers to go over there and take out this national threat. We are to liberate a country, not destroy it.

Now I'm sure, and GOD forbid, that if we had terriorists over here, blowing innocent people up, they would expect our military to kick their ass.

This is not a Vietnam war. This is not World War II. They did not come and bomb us like Pearl Harbor. We are cleaning out a country that refuses to live by the treaty that they signed. Countless efforts were made, to have this settled like dignifyed men. Saddam has chosen to abandon the treaty, and become an evil power, that must be destroyed and will. In a few years, the war will be long over, and Iraq will once again have a new government and support from us, to rebuild and possible florish as a great nation. To all the war protestors out there....get a job. It's obvious that you rather bitch and moan about something you have no control over. Secondly, if you are out on the streets, protesting something you have no clue on what or why you are even there. They protested Vietnam, but guess what....the war still happened. These Iraqies know what it's like to fight for a country, maybe you can do the same sometime.

So for all those Hollywood nuts out there, if you are against this war, you can do me a favor. When Tom Hanks or any other director comes beating on your door, for a movie portaying anything about this war, do not accept the script. I would hate to think that some of you protestors have a change of heart, when dollar signs are catching your eyes.

Very well said, YLEE!!! I agree. I am so sick of seeing these people who make tremendous amounts of money to pretend they are someone else, think that because of their wealth and fame that they automatically know what is going on and what's best for our nation. They should really do some research before they open their mouths. These people are the same ones that said they would leave the country if Bush was elected to President. I'm still waiting on that one! These people just can't stand that a Republican is in office.

I'm for blowing the shit out of IRAQ! Peace demonstarators are ****ing idiots and if they pull that laying down shit in front of me I'm gonna walk all over their asses! Having to commute to Manhattan everyday for work, I've already exchanged some words with a few of them. Them and they're marching through the city like they own it, stopping traffic, getting a police escort, using up the whole sidewalk, non-peaceful demonstrations-getting arrested and all. I'll plant a MOAB right up their asses!

These are the idiots that should of been at the top of WTC on 9/11.

God Bless our infantry across sea's fighting to protect our freedom for the future. Support them at all costs.

Well guys and gals, I'm tired of the allies "playing by the rules". Hell... Sadaam(that a-hole) is dressing up his military people in OUR uniforms, shooting civilians and ambushing our boys; then blaming us. That and executing our military personnel when they're captured. Lets go balls out and turn the @###% place into a parking lot. And......I won't be happy until Sadaam and his bunches' heads are on a stick. Then their propoganda morons can show all the tapes they want of him/them being alive.

And another thing we should not be feeding these people either! We get them all fed and give them medical attention and then wham! They try to kill us anyway! And watching them *******s dance around the downed helicopter really pissed me off! And now the Williamsburg bridge is shut down. Get them all out and close the borders already!! Enough is enough!!

Example: what happened on 9/11, is what can happen again if we stay passive now. I'm sorry if anyone dissagrees but they let too many people into this country and I can't stand when people come here to live and have some assnine comment saying America ****s, and I hear this stuff where I work. GET OUT!!! ALREADY if you don't like it. I pay taxes to much for you to hear this type of crapola, you know what I mean? Sorry if I sound off in this message, I'm just upset over alot of people that hate what the government is doing to protect them. I bet if some terrorist bombed the backyard of some of these antiwar protesting celebrities mansions, they would be the first ones crying revenge. Obviously nobody realises that he government knows alot more than they tell us so not to cause mass hysteria. I think the president is doing whats right, SORRY:(

I disagree with feeding the people. There are those civilians who are going to welcome the freedom and are very appreciative of our efforts. People learn by example and if the only example they have had is a Hitler reincarnate for the last 25 yrs., that we need to re-educate. I think the Iraqi's WILL show support for the US more after they know for sure that Sadaam is done otherwise they continue to be at risk for his loyals to kill them. I mean he's already killed 2 million plus of his own people.....

The problem I have with feeding etc. these people they are the same ones that danced in the streets when the twin towers were blown up! I'll try to believe that there is some good in everyone but it has been very very hard lately!! While we pick up them up they shoot us between the eyes. Its hard to be objective is all....

Day after day I see these walls of plaster closing in. More than I've this lonely lonely feeling of wondering why and where I've been. Just about the time I think I can't hold on your always there to keep me hanging on....

I agree we should help out the innocent civilians with food especially since they had no problem feeding themselves unitl the attack. Hunger and famine is unhamanitarian and if we stoop so low as to deny them any after we uprooted them from their home, then were just like Sadaam. Unfortunately we have to play by the rules because there are too many weapons of mass destruction out there. One strays and everyone strays and the world turns into a piece of burnt rubble.
Keeping these weapons out of hands of idiots like Sadaam and Bin Laden is whats gonna allow the earth to keep spinning.

Exactly - that's what I had said in my post. Sadaam's sons are equally as horrible. His son Uday is noted for having rape chambers and raping women until they bleed - he likes to see them bleed. He also tortures the Iraqi olympians if they don't perform to HIS standards - many of which are never seen again. He's been married/divorced like 5 or 6 times and if he's interested in a woman, but she's not in him - he'll have them kidnapped and then he rapes them. He owns and operates Al Jazeera TV and you can only view what the regime wants you to see.

So to me it's a no brainer why people like the next Hitlers need to go and show these people a new way of life and economic resources in a democratic government.

I'm generally anti-war but I know when it's necessary. This is necessary.

There was actually a propaganda battle a few days ago about who would feed the Iraqi people. Iraq had that "Oil for Food" program happening with the UN so they could feed their people (they were starving in spite of it) but the war halted it. Iraq was using that to complain that we were starving the Iraqi people, saying that they didn't need humanitarian aid because they could afford to feed themselves and that, if we stopped fighting, they could take care of themselves.

Of course they overlooked the fact that the sanctions were only there because they weren't complying with UN resolutions that resulted from their violent invasion of Kuwait!

Now THEY want to sue George W. Bush as a war criminal? They're so full of shit!
They need their asses kicked and kicked GOOD.
