I have been hearing 1000 rumours about this for weeks now.
HOWEVER I was told today that Plant, Page , Jones, and Jason Bonham are gearing up for a worldwide tour starting in the fall of this year.
This info comes from a very, very big time producer, and another promotions guy out of LA Cal.
This is not BS, Plant has contractual agreements to fullfill with Kraus and then to hit the road with Pagey, Jonesy and Jason.
I did not think it would happen ever, but it appears as of now that it is in writing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will happen, the London shows went off fantastic. Actually it will be very good as it was very rare back in the day to see Zep live without Page being completely blasted. He's cleaned up now and his playing shows it. I saw page/plant together at Jones Beach years back and Page's live playing never sounded better. Problem with Zep in the past is Page always looked at the live shows as just a chance to party and have fun. He admitted as much. His real mastery was in the studio. He created studio techniques that were unheard in the day (i.e. When the Levee Breaks, putting John Bonham in the hallway to play drums to get a natural echo effect). That's just the tip of the iceberg. I could bore you with others such as mic placement etc.

I heard a rumor that they have been in a London studio recording new originals.

Whatever happens its all good....

Of course this is going to happen. I'm sure it's been in the works for quite some time now.

New original...is that an oxymoron? not sure...

probably transposed the old stuff into a lower key for Plant to hit the high notes...he's no Randy Jackson!!!

Actually its been JPJ, Page and Jason in the studio, but no signs of Plant.

still do not know what this is about???
I cannot see a new album, but who knows???

The guy I got this info from is the same that told me that Wolfie would be with VH, before anything was made of it , I laughed.

Also told me Triumph was reuniting, I did'nt laugh.

So his info has been 100%.

Cmon guys.....cut Plant a little slack. Those vocals were laid down when he was a teenager/20's. Years of screaming shred the vocal chords.

If the tour would happen, hit the Lotto, or hit your swiss bank account. Tix are going to be in the stratosphere(if you can even have a chance at them!).

Its great to know that some of us still have a little common sense in our OLD age. LOL.

Everyone here loves ZEBRA, but UHHH????? comparisons give me a break.

I think tickets would be about average for a great show these days HOWEVER gettin "em will be crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

And I can only hope that they play the LARGE ARENAS, or two or three shows in one city!!!!!!

Also, they probably will only do a handfull of shows not a full blown out tour.

I just hope it happens.

The easiest plan would be to have it in New York at the park and have it on pay-per-view. Then they can play one show and make millions.

How about have it in NEW ORLEANS, supposedly Plant and Pages FAVORITE place in North America!!!!!!!!!
I'll find a way to get in!!!!!!!!!!!!

NY has enough already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are 2 maybe more "sponsors" willing to cough up over a 100 million to the guys and to support this tour, they are fighting over who will do it!!!!!!!!

I don't think money will be an issue, but it always is.

Gonna be interesting.

There is a guy on the zep boards that is always right& he said its gonna happen,I trust his word.I saw Plant a few years ago his voice was amazing. He may not be able to hit the high notes but he manipulates his vocals with great results.Someday Randy may have to do the same!I told my wife when we got married if Zep comes back-I will spend whatever I have to to be there! { in the U.S. anyway }

Danny, the last thing I read is Plant was not interested in doing Zep stuff. He's made a legacy and wants to move on. The rest of the guys are for it. Yes the South would be a good place to have a "reunion" show but it is much safer to play up at the park in NY, and set it up as a pay per view. These guys are in their late 50's and early 60's, they don't want to be touring and playing a grueling 40 state tour. Those days are well over. They know they could sell any place at anytime. Not one arena would not sell out, if they were to make plans. Even with the costs of tickets these days, people will buy them into the hundreds possibly the thousands.
a chance in a lifetime to witness one of the true pioneers of rock. But Plant said it was no, he wanted to move on and not rehash the golden years. He may change his mind once they have more interest and sponsors. We should send Page and Jones the cd of the Zeppelin Symphony, and say "he could hit the high notes.......and play guitar as well". Skip Plant if he doesn't want to, let Randy front, it would be a dream for him and us. I would pay big dollars for that.

I have read the same about Plant, However I do think that with the success of the london thing that he may have a change of heart for the fans.
Obviously these guys do not need the money.
I agree that there is no way that they could do a full blown out tour, but maybe a show every 5 days or so, in the large arenas would satisfy the fan base. Lets say 15 or so shows max.
I know they cannot pull it off as they used to, and I truly do not expect it to be, these guys are well past their prime of performing at that 30 year ago level. That was evidenced in the Page/Plant tours but it would be nice for the fans.
I will say this though I would rather them leave it alone and not do anything, if they at least cannot give us a good show. With the right tune selection I think they can.
Pay per view would be great but I really do not think its about the money.
I truly think that Page is finally healthy enough to do this and wants to give something back to the fans.
After all He did donate every cent of that 125 million lawsuit to a childrens organization in London, which is unheard of these days in a money hungry world.
I also do not want it to be called Led Zepp. either, I'm old school and think that without Bonzo their is no ZEPP.
UNlike this idiot TOM Scholtz that is still calling this one man show of his BOSTON. which is a FRicken shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I may have back stage to the Styx/Tom Scholtz show here in BR and I swear I will tell this arss H.le to his face, Its a disgrace to Bradley Delp and the other members who were going to get togethor for
this tour, but his greediness *****ed it all up and perhaps triggered what happened to Brad.

One thing I think alot of people do not realize and I did not untill recently, is that Randys style of Falsettoooooooooooo vocals is easier on the vocal chords once its mastered, and I think Randy has it mastered. LOL.
This sounds crazy I know but ask anyone who truly knows about voice range, and vocal abilities such as a opera singer or vocal instructor.

I too would pay in excess to see these guys onstage togethor, or break in thru a backdoor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were and will always be the GREATEST rock band of all time, no further questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Never before has an audience so not refused to acknowledge the non existence of a band"
quote from the ZEPP box set, WELL PUT I would say.
