He's , like, the greatest singer/songwriter that no one's ever heard of. About 10 years ago, Rolling Stone magazine named him "Songwriter of the year".... for the CD "This Perfect World". Minor hit single, Bad Reputation (NOT Joan' Jett's version!), was from this CD:

"I know I got a Bad Reputation.....
And it isn't just Talk, Talk, Talk..."

He also scored the Farrelly brother's movie, Kingpin (with Woody Harrelson and Randy Quaid)...A lot of music from"This Perfect World was used in that movie, including "Bad Reputation".
I finally got to see him live last summer for the first time, and I try to go whenever he's local (which also includes road trips to New england, Jersey, and Philly!)
He's playing in NYC the 1st Thursday night in June, at a great place called The Makor on Central park West. Anyone want to go??

And yes, I am Dawn Dolores (as in: D. D. Roxxx), and Freedy has a song called "Dolores was her Middle name" which had me SOOOOOOO convinced that I knew him in another life!

He was pretty surprised when I met him and told him that Dolores WAS MY middle name!!!

(......My Mom named me "Dawn" after the Frankie Valli and the 4 season's song.) Dolores is my Godmother, but I like to think my Mom was a visionary back then and KNEW there would be a song written someday about my middle name.
