PHONE: 516-797-5908
TIME: 10:00pm
Some of us will be meeting for drinks, dinner and more drinks before Randy's acoustic show at The Blue Parrot on Saturday, 5/10. Anyone who'd like to join us is more than welcome to. Dinner will be at The Corner Galley, across the street from The Blue Parrot on the north side of Merrick Road. Here is a link to the restaurant www.CornerGalley.net this way your can check the menu out as well. The restaurant comes highly recommended!! I'd like to make the dinner reservation for 7:30 pm, this way we can take our time with dinner and drinks and still get to The Blue Parrot early enough to get some tables. The Blue Parrot got crowded when Randy played there the first time. Please PM me by 5/8 if you'd like to join us for dinner.
Hope to see some of you there! :drinks_nologo:

I don't drink, I'll do DD. I was DD for my friend at the Katie's show. Good thing too, her and my friend Brian took turns buying beers plus they were passing out free shots and then they were drinking apple martini's at the Italian restaurant during dinner. She was toast by the end of the night.

never tried those, I was a beer man. 14 wasn't enough, I loved when they came out with the 18 pack. 12 wasn't enough but 24 was too much. Liquor always made me puke.:puke:

I'd hate to be you guys the next A.M. That's the other reason I loved beer, no major hangovers just a little beer brain. Nothing a few cups of joe wouldn't fix.

Tickets...you'll be buying me 4 watermelon martini's.
My head hurts because I got 3 hours of sleep and I was mixing drinks, aside from drinking on an empty stomach.
You're welcome-about the DVD.

Guess she won't be judging the bake-off!
just a thought...but you two can make the same thing, but each person would have to be creative in adding to it to make it more appealing.
If you make brownies, make them black and white in a Zebra design or add whipped cream and other toppings to them. C'mon girls, use your imaginations!! There's alot you can do with baked goods.
Isn't that what beer companies do? They all make beer, but they add ingredients or color to make theirs stand out.
OK, Ms. Fresh :tongue5: ...let's lay down the rules for this bake-off. I think we should work off of Rob's idea of baking a 'basic' dessert (i.e.-brownies, cookies, etc.) and then each make our own version of it. Since the birthday girl loves nuts, maybe make 2 versions of the basic dessert, one with nuts and one without. Or, we can do one brownie and one cookie.
We will need some Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell's (we already have a Randy Jackson) to judge. The judges will not know who baked which desserts, so there is no bias. More importantly, we will need hungry mouths to eat the treats!! So, who wants to help out?
What does the winner get...besides bragging rights?

Yes...please do. I like to be entertained!!
