Geez, there's so many threads about Rush on here you'd think this was a Rush chat. 10 threads I counted within the past week.

Well, I suppose when a band returns for the first time in 12 years, we tend to get a bit excited!!!

Seriously, judging by the energy(and VOLUME) the crowd gave back to the band(and they loved it!!), it felt like the second coming. Kinda like seeing a long lost friend....

So how bad did Ticketmaster rape you? I hope they at least used the KY.

Well....TM NEVER uses KY. I can say the tix were double digit(including the charges/facility fees) so it wasn't as bad as you'd expect for a show. Besides, not many acts are doing 3+ hour shows.

Unfortunately, TM is the only game in town. You just have to set a level on how much you'll pay for a band live. And with the scarcity of shows coming to my region, I'll go if the price is right(unless I'm comp'd!! :-) ).

Hmmm....interesting!! I've seen them 7 times, and Ziggy saw them for the 1st time and BOTh our pulses were racing. Something about great musicians just get you in the groove!!

no I've never seen Rush live. But I've been to a few 2112 shows. They sound great. Apparently Rush likes them too because they met when 2112 played in the Great White North. I would love to see the real thing. Have to check when they come here, hopefully to JB.
