nascar at noon. timbo i would love to sit thru one race in front of that tv of yours. or even some mr. race during commercials. you'd get hooked after just a few races with a few veteren nascar lovers in the same room.

I was all ready for Dodge's return a couple of years ago but the simultaneous disappearance of Earnhardt and Dave Marcis (he was my fave to cheer for) kinda dampened my enthusiasm.

Speed Channel got me hooked on this:

They run the races during NASCAR's off-season.

The spirit of the cars' configuration reminds me of classic NASCAR in the early '60s when there was still plenty of stock in stock car. Australia still produces cars with rear drive and American-designed V8s so these cars really represent stockers. They also use actual production body panels (even the headlights and taillights still work) so there's no whining about uniform aero packages.

I think you'll like it if you check it out. I know it's months away but it really helps fill the void over the winter. You can read up on it now while their season is actually happening.
