We'll be back next year . . . opening for a band [whose] name starts with an 'L' and has a 'Z' in it." Then, after somebody yelled "Led Zeppelin," Astbury nodded his head "yes."
Nobody is commenting on the Astbury leak, although a Zep rep says that no tour decisions have been made. "Maybe Ian got mixed up and they're supporting Limp Bizkit!" he adds.
We gots more. Jimmy Page revealed in a recent Reuters interview that the Zep has plans to unleash a never-before-performed live song during the Ahmet Ertegun tribute show, though he would not specify what the "really intense" track would be."
