*72 Phone Scam

Basically, when you dial *72 before dialing the number, you are allowing the person at that number to make calls which will be charged to your number. The feature has legitimate uses, but a scam has been built around it by those incarcerated as described in the link above.

If you dial * 69 before dialing a number you are forcing the person at that number to turn themselves upside down before answering the phone. The feature has legitimate uses, but can cause increased bloodflow to the brain.
