I just went out for a little stroll and it is nasty outside. Just in time for Halloween.

As some of my closest friends know, I hate Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I love it for the kids,but I personally hate getting dressed up.

Favorite part of Halloween: taking my two kids trick or treating and seeing their happy faces.

Least favorite part: having the door bell ring continuously at 8:30pm by the high school kids that don't have costumes but still expect candy.

The rules in my house no costume no candy seems to work so far. After 8 I just don't answer the door anymore.

I took the day off just so I can give trick or treaters candy. Otherwise I don't get home from work until after 8PM and they are just about finished by then. The smaller kids are the cutest anyhow. They appreciate it more then the teens.

i'm sitting at my desk in a tank top and sweater and I have air conditioning blowing down on my back making me very cold and giving me a stiff neck. I've had a chill in me since I got in at 9 am that I can't get rid of and I can't feel my fingers. Right now I want a hot bath and a massage. Do you think anyone would notice if I put it on an expense report? It's a chilly day here on the island...

I hate the Winter. I am definitely a Summer Girl. My arthritis gives me a lot of problems in this weather. I notice lately the older I get the harder it is to move.

I took some pics yesterday at lunch of Macy's Christmas windows. They look and photograph better at night. They really are pretty though.

I LOVE Christmas and being in NYC is even more inspiring for getting ready for the holidays. As most of you know I LOVE to bake, and I do love to decorate and I especially love to listen to Christmas music. I know this may sound positively nauseating to some and weird to others who shall remain nameless, but that's just the kind of gal I am.
