I cannot even think about any buying this year. Being out of work 4 weeks killed an already horrible financial picture for me.

Anybody want a date with Greg? Mcdonalds for dinner and a B movie rental video for the encore.

gift giving (and dating) doesn't have to be based on money!
if your buying for someone who expects $$$ spent - looks like you need to have a talk with them (or drop them from your list)
and as far as dating goes are you sure they arent escorts?

i can think of nothing better than a date that requires little or practically NO MONEY but is FILLED with imagination/originality - show me who
you really are (by keeping your clothes on) and that will impress me!

money money money - eff it - you ever hear-its only money?

I think StiX and I will be heading into NYC so I can look at the windows sometime after Turkey day. It';s a tradition - at least for me. He's in NYC everyday and could care less!

As a friend of Mark's, and I've also been HAPPILY divorced since Sept 2005, I sympathize.
Still, I dont give up. Any single women on this board???

holiday shopping thread turning to looks and divorce!
i think divorce is such a horrible thing.
you marry someone loving them more than life itself,
than you end up not being able to deal with them - HORRIBLE!
and sad, so very sad. :(

hows everyone doin with their shopping?

NY DREAMER

I am done. Just a few little things left!! Now on to wrapping....

GreggFromJoisey

Agreed SHOWLUVRSIS about marrying till death do us part. But when "the other person" refuses to go to a marriage counselor but instead goes to a FemiNazi therapist who tells her "you don't need a man".....
then after the divorce she kisses your ass and cries poverty....
Gregg says "Living well is the best revenge"
:)
Taking tomorrow off to do ALL shopping in one fell swoop LOL

hey guys - i'm a little behind myself this year in that
although everything is bought, i'm only half way through my wrapping
maybe a little further - thought i was bought and wrapped awhile ago - NOT -but at least i dont have to deal with the mobs!
some people enjoy that stuff - i am a complete recluse for the most part
