View Full Version : Which is the most UNLIKELY Reunion?
So, which of these bands is the most unlikely to reunite?
Also, feel free to post as to whether you think any of them will happen!
I would think that the most likely are The Kinks and Genesis, because there have been discussions and it appears the players are open to the possibility.
Dire Straits, I really don't know what is happening there.
Supertramp, I don't see it happening at all. I heard there were some discussions 10 years ago and there is a wife issue invoived. I would see this one in a heartbeat, but I don't think it will happen.
Led Zep, well we've all heard the rumors. I don't see it, but who knows.
VH, I think the bridges have been burned with MA. I don't see it happening, but of course I didn't think we would see Black Sabbath play with Bill Ward after Ozzy and Sabbath reunited without him. It now seems to be a big happy family now.
You forgot one even though Tom died

I assume we are talking about new album and full tour? Why isn't Pink Floyd on here? And NO I dont think their "one time reunion" from a while back should count.....

I Think "floyd" Will Happen, They Better Hurry Up Though!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't put Pink Floyd on because they just got together last ear for the Live Earth show. I should have put G 'n' R here though. I think a reunion for them will likely happen before Chinese Democracy is ever released.

Yea, but Gilmour said he will never play again with Waters, which is such a tragedy. Led Zep is what I chose because John Paul Jones said he wants nothing to do with them ever again. Didn't help that Page/Plant never contacted him when they got back together.

Amazing how things change, Zep just did theirs. VH is doin' it without Michael, so that don't count. I voted for VH. I also think Genesis is not happening either. But never say never for anybody, money can be a great motivator.

Floyd will never get back together!I met R.Waters twice, once after the reunion show.He saidhe could do it for a single show like LIve8.But could'nt do it on a regular basis.Too much for him to put up with.

Since Bonham has died , I think the chances of a reunion are small

As Plant put it when Bonham passed away.
And I think HE is sticking to it.
Great for him, much respect for him.
The legacy and Greatness of Zeppelin will never go away though, NEVER.

Triumph is up there for least likely.
It looked like a done deal 2 years ago... they got together and played 2 gigs. But then is just sort of died. And Rik made some comments recently indicating that no one wants to do it any more....

I voted for Zeppelin. As both Robert and Jimmy put it "Nobody can just learn what Bonzo did"

Waters and Gilmour blew it when Wright died. They should have gotten together before he passed. BTW....Live8 don't count. A few songs don't make a reunion, espeically with the looks on Gilmour, Mason and Wright's faces towards Waters.
Genesis would be an interesting proposition. Saw them in the 80's, but that was Genesis-"lite". I want the real thing!

Unfortunately, It would be Genesis! Specially now that Phil is retired!
