nah, I was just asking for a name, or a stage name. Stories about dancers are either cool, funny or both.
Do you believe that Rigid opened for Queensryche or do I have to get Chicas to post on that too?
I was there! I didn't call you on that. In fact I'm proud of him for that accomplishment.
I don't know anything about Earl except that everyone called him Nearl. Earl has nothing to do with what I said.
Wrong, Earl has everything to do with that one. He was there. I was worried sick about the guy and thank God he came back in one piece. But he's earned the right to agree, dispute, correct or debunk any statement like that, and one thing that I defend on Earl's behalf was that their objective WAS accomplished and they pulled out. The only job left unfinished was the Gulf War sentiment...it sprouted opinions from everyone who never saw it, including you and I.
Que Pasa? Chill out brah, this is the ZEBRA message board, not Meet The Press.:D
Right back at you, sammy. Sometimes we all agree to disagree, and that's OK.

Actually, I do know what the mission's objective was. It's just that we knew Saddam Hussein was a supreme *******, we had the opportunity (according to Schwartzkopf) to take him out and the Pres shut it down because he wouldn't say, "To hell with the U.N. I'm doing the right thing!"
I was talking about the limits placed on the mission; not the execution of the mission. The execution was nothing short of PHENOMINAL. My criticism was purely about the political decision. Had those limits not been placed there, we wouldn't be doing this now....in defiance of the U.N.
That's just my opinion of the decision made by a President I voted for. I voted for him to make those decisions for me and the rest of the country. To me, the fact that we're about to put more American lives in harm's way shows that it was a decision that lacked foresight.
Thank you, Earl, for CHOOSING to put your life on the line to defend my Constitutional right to have that opinion. Honestly, I'm glad this all came up so I have the opportunity to thank you!

The first time we went the objective was to first like Earl said LIBERATE KUWAIT,NOT OVERTHROW SADDAM HUSSEIN. Second was to put an ass whipping on all his bunkers and military. We actuly thought that this would make him vanish or that he would be overthrown. Well as we know nothing happend so this time were going all the way to remove or kill him its the only way to end this thing . The big fear is that one day this ass hole will supply terrorist with mass destruction weapons that could take out hundreds of thousands of amercans not just two towers in new york. This guy needs to go hes ****ing around with some heave shit that could land in the WRONG HANDS.

Yeah, you're basically saying the same thing I was but with different words.
What we did was like what happens in a James Bond movie, actually, but make Saddam Hussein Bond in this comparison...and NO, I'm not saying he was the hero.
The bad guy always gets Bond where he wants him. The bad guy usually has Bond at gunpoint. Then he'll throw Bond into some situation he can escape from rather than just shooting him and being sure it's over.
Hoping for an overthrow was a crapshoot. Once the original military objective had been reached, an executive decision was made to not depose Hussein, even though it was discussed. That's documented in direct quotes from Norman Schwartzkopf and George Bush. Schwartzkopf wanted to pull the trigger and finish him while we had him at gunpoint but Bush preferred to be like Goldfinger and just leave him chained to the bomb.
What's done is done so now I just hope we kick some major ass over there and accomplish THIS objective as well as we accomplished that last one. I have a lot of confidence that we will.

Well the "Shock and Awe" has begun. I cannot believe that we can turn on the t.v and watch a war that is actually happening! It is mind boggling! The bombs going off right now are so intense and to think its just begun! Living on Long Isalnd I am constantly seeing the fighter jets fly over. I am not sure if I am glad to see them or scared to see them! What a crazy world we are living in...
Love rain on me.....
