We are getting a puppy today. Friends of ours had a litter of pups several weeks ago and we are taking one of them. He is a Lhasa Apso, 2 shades of white and he is adorable. I saw him for the first time on Father's day, he peed on me and I fell in love with him (figures, typical male)
Just wanted to share...
I want to see pics when you have them. I'm sure he's gonna be an adorable lil fur ball!! Good luck to you and the kids with the newest member of your family.

Thankfully, the same size as my vibrator! I buy them in the value-pak size at BJ's!

Would that be the vibrating cell phone you were telling me about?

We just got him home, his name is Toby Levine. Hmmmm, I wonder if I should plan a belated bris.
He was born on May 7, 2007, which makes him another male Taurus with OCD to love and care for. He is so fluffy and cute!!! I will take pics soon and put him up on an avatar.

OMG!!! He is SOOO cute! I'm sure he'll bring much love into your home. StiX and I are anxious to get another dog ourselves - but that's gonna have to be next year.
Can't wait to see the pics! Good luck with Toby!
Puppies! I love little Puppies. I check em out at the pet shop everytime I go to the mall.
A week less then one full year now and I haven't brought myself to replacing Puggs yet. Don't know if I seriously will. Don't know if I want to go through that again. Besides, once you had the best little man in the world whats left?

Linda your puppy is ADORABLE. What a cute little ball of fluff. Enjoy him!!
My daughters have been begging me for a puppy. I'm highly allergic and also don't want the responsibility right now. Of course my daughters insist they'd take care of it-but I know it'll be me picking up the poop outside!!

mark i wanna cry! :<
i feel so sad about this! maybe you need more time - there will never
be another puggs the bestest !
my friend actually came by last week with
her new pug puppy (and i thought right away of you and puggs) and
he was sooo cute - i didnt want to let him leave (and this coming from one
who kicks small dogs when the owners arent around) -
ahahaahha just joking - you can call pam anderson off me.
hubby wants a boxer - im getting a great dane - when the "run" is done a shopping we will go - im only am not 100% bc that there is another huge bill between feeding and vet bills!
l2 congrats can you post some more pics?
toby levine isnt he the pitcher for the florida marlins?
Tomorrow is 1 full year anniversary since Puggs passed. A full year already. Can't believe it! I think whats a partial issue now is that Puggs would be home alone from 7:30AM till 3PM everyday and for that I felt a bit guilty. He had the cats to mess with but they're no fun. Once in a while the stepson would go to his girlfriend's after school and Puggs was alone until 6PM at night. I didn't think that was fair and would like to have better accomodations if we got another dog. An outdoor fenced in yard and dog house would work but not during summer or winter.
Though I'd like to adopt a Puggy from Pug rescue I'd have to be able to work out some accomodations first. Like a daytime walker and stuff.

My wife is a professional who runs all the dog shows in the world for the American Kennel Club. We used to breed Lhasa's and still have two. If you got a white one consider yourself lucky. They are not common. We have a couple once. Called them the Barbie twins. Cute as can be.
Lhasa's are great dogs. Socialize them well as they can be one person dogs. We dont have kids and that has always been a problem when some come over. They were originally bred as gifts for royalty in Tibet and were used to keep royalty feet warm. You will find the dogs love to lie at your feet if not on them. Good slippers in the winter months.
Congrats & enjoy your new pup!

I forgot to mention were are about to have a litter of Golden Retriever pups in a few weeks! This will be my first golden litter. I cant wait!!!! My wife has been working with Goldens all hr life so no big deal to her. This will be so exciting. Average litter is 10 to 12. Unfortunately, my wife says they all go to show dog homes. Cant keep any. ;0( I'd keep them all if I could...lol.
