It was great to see so many of you and to meet some new board members at BB King's last night!
As some of you know, I'm a musician although I've been hiding it the last few years by chaining myself in my dungeon/studio obsessively working on a CD rather than playing out as I'd been doing a few years back. Well I'm now resurfacing as a live performer and by sheer coincidence my new booking agent just called to book me on a show with Randy in September in Whitestone, Queens. I will of course be harassing all of you in New York to come out to the show until then, but if you want to put it on your calendars now, here's the info:

Dan if you want it to be a success you will need to do the fallowing
1 blow fire
2 spit blood
3 smash up your equipment after the show
4 murder a live cow on stage
5 tell everyone 666 is the way to go
6 drink till you drop
7 throw up on the people in the front row

If you are opposed to these, as an alternative you can DRINK blood and murder a live PIG on stage. Oh wait, WASP isn't big anymore - nevermind...

Dan - Congrats! I'm sure StiX and I will be there - that's about a 30-45 minute ride from our house!

Hey all, thanks for your comments and "I'll be there"s and especiallly to Tim and 2112 for their suggestions.
Tim and 2112 I saw Rush last night at Jones Beach on Long Island and it was perhaps the best performance I've seen from them, esp. Geddy's voice. Tim, I think any criticism of the Zebra DVD is akin to seeing Rush do a spectacular show but still leaving and complaining that they didn't play anything from Fly By Night and Caress of Steel!

Dan- I was there too - what an AWESOME show ! I was suprised at Geddy's voice being so strong also - hwo he can hit those high notes after all these years- much like Randy his voice gets stronger with age- Amazing- P.S. Have you heard the Subdivisions [Rush Tribute] CD Randy - sang on - it's Great !!

The show has been changed from 9/21 to 9/7 due to Yom Kippur.
Bobby G, I have heard Subdivisions, I got one of the signed Randy copies. I like Randy's performances on that, although on Distant Early Warning I wish the lead guitarist wouldn't play a solo over the entire song, including on top of all the vocals!
