Randy Jackson has been all over Long Island,Poukeepsie,Westchester,Louisianna,etc... Doing what he does best, Playing Live !!! On this note "Acoustic Randy" has been Blowing the crowds away with his Extreme Talent !!! Along with the fantastic covers of Elton John,Led Zep,China Rain,ZEBRA
...Randy also uplifts us with his spiritual acoustic guitar work of some NEW ZEBRA Material such as (My favorite)...ARABIAN NIGHTS
...which is a bitch on the acoustic, but Randy has no problem making the strings melt along with his tremendous vocals all through the night....It's an Ultimate chance to see what I have seen (and a beautiful night out with your Lady !)..and you too, will talk about this "Rock n Roll Ambiance Of Randy Jackson" to anybody who will listen !!

JUKEBOX HERO it would be great if randy did the zeppelin acoustic show with the new york orchestra and put that out on cd.

I understand the guys are trying to get the best deal for the CD, I'm all for it. In the meantime, I think it would only be fair for them to give us a "sampler" of the new disc. Say, the first 2 minutes of each song? This way people who don't get to see them locally can hear some of the new material and get familiar with it, and the rest of us can keep our excitement fresh. I think that's reasonable! Enough to get a "taste"...

sue,
excellent idea, but we would be in our 80s when it comes out. just think how long weve waited for a cd!!!!

Thanks OU812 & Jukebox...I think it's a fair compromise!. Just enough of each song to get familiar with it, not looking for the whole song. Put the new material up here on the site - they can annonce it at the shows when they mention thedoor .com. More people might visit the site too?

Does anyone enjoy the element of surprise anymore? These days everyone wants to hear everything before they buy. Nothing can replace my 3.v experience of buyng and listening to that album from start to finish. Personally, i don't want to be too familiar with the tunes. Just my opinion.

OU813, ask your "brother", OU812...he seems to have most(if not all) of the new CD already :D

Ryan, I don't want the whole song, just a minute or two. I made the suggestion more on the behalf of the people who don't get to see them often, like I do. I understand what you are saying though...I like the element of surprise myself ;)
