I'm with you GP! This weather is SUPER NICE! The trees are green again, grass is green, birds singing....:59: I feel like dancing!

Oh Yeah! Well I had to trudge thorugh like a foot of snow just to fill the bird feeder before I left to work this morning.

and so many of the people in my neighborhood didnt shovel their walks. There should be a $$$ fine for that!!!!

Nah, I always keep a big bucket of bird seed in the shed with always about 60lbs of seed. The birds are funny. They wait for me to come out ready to head to the train station in the morning. They are so use to the routine, they fly real close to me as I got to the shed to get seed. They almost fly into the shed with me. Then they stand on branches in the tree right above my head as I fill it. Pretty soon I'll be able to feed them by hand.
Sparrows, Cardinals, Nuthatches, Black capped chickodees, Warblers, Red headed woodpecker and many others.

Thats cause the snow is topped with thre inches of ice gregg. 1/2 of my driveway I couldn't use a snow shovel on. I had to use a regular shovel to break through the ice cover. As for the yard snow, you start walking on it and its hard enough to support my weight. Then all of a sudden a step breaks through like ice on the lake breaking beneath my footsteps and I sink a foot and nearly fall flat on my face. Hopefully be gone by the end of this week.

I still did my wellness walk around Manhattan today. I didn't care how much slush was in my way or how much melting precipitation dripped on my head while I did it. It was a little cold, but very nice.
And I did say excuse me when I pushed people out of my way!!
