View Full Version : Internet advice needed, please

Can anyone tell me what are the good internet services out there?
Price-wise, download speed, least amount of downtime?
I've had it with Comcast. Has crashed 6 times in the 2 years I've had it. And I'm paying $45 a month for that b.s.????

Verizon FIOS alllll the way!
hands down there is literally nothing better - only catch -
it may not be available in your area - in meantime i suggest Verizon DSL

We have MSN and never had a problem.

Actually its the Geico commercials I like. The Gecco is cool himself. Geico struck it rich with that advertising concept. The caveman show is gonna be stupid. They're good for short commercial quips but now they're gonna take it to far and ruin the novelty of it.

I still want the Wendy's Ranch Tooth back!

I'm with Kelli! Verizon FIOS all the way - best thing we ever did and I don't even work for the company like Kelli and Lynn!!!!

Now, if we can just get FIOS TV in my area, I'd be all set and give Optimum the 'ol high sign!

I just signed up for comcast triple play. $159 a month includes unlimited local and long distance, every cable station they have including some kind of sports upgrade program. Thats with 2 digital convertors with dvr. Upgraded internet with a modem rental. Two year contract.

I've had comcast for 6 years now. Never had a single problem.

I have heard lots of good about Comcast, but its my apartment complex who's to blame. The wiring is extremely old....."absentee landlord" in Florida doesnt listen when the Super or when Comcast tells him that....so the residents suffer....:ranting_w:

Hides out in Florida away from the tenants. Nice guy. Put out a mug of beer on your doorstep next time he visits. Maybe hell crawl inside and drown himself like the slug he is.
