Internet radio is the one place where bands like Zebra & Triumph - well heck- ANYONE who isn't Justin Timberlake or Mariah Carey- can still get airplay! They're usually run for the fans by the fans. And now the greedy RIAA is trying to kill it off.
Please go to the address I've posted above, and sign the petition.
Do one better & write your representatives. If you'd like a sample letter, I could paste a couple here for you.
Please speak your minds, and pass this along to everyone you know. The time to repeal is quickly running out!

I did my deed. Internet radio is the only thing I listen to at work. It is my saving grace. DAMN IT! Leave well enough alone! :po:

Thanks, Zebraette. I listen to Live 365 all day during work too. (My favorite station lets you request songs from a list of 11,000 songs, and has lots of Zebra on it.) I'll go crazy if I have to go back to regular radio! The classic rock stations who are stuck on the same 10 artists (And only the stuff they put out in the 70's - nothing newer, even if the artist is still around creating new music) or the pop stuff. ("Sexy Back"? What the hell is that anyway?) :disgust1:

I listen to AccuRadio Classic Rocktopia...play the old stuff... I have requested for Zebra but nothing has been played yet. I'll keep asking as long as the station is out there.
Yeah, I always wanted to know what "sexy back" meant too....I have always been told I have a sexy back.....

See, now I've only been told that I have a sexy back-end... (Naw...)
P.S. - When I say "request", I mean you literally go to Zebra & choose the song, and it plays. It's on an automatic request system. That's one of the main reasons I love it so much. :D

I don't know if any of you have heard Randy's PSA on "Stickman-Radio", but he is urging everyone to be involved with this too!
As you know, the future of Internet radio is in
immediate danger. Corporate greed has forced royalty
rates for web casters to be drastically increased &
will force the majority of web casters to go bankrupt
and silent on this date. Internet radio needs your
help!
Breaking News!
Representatives Jay Inslee (D-WA) Donald Manzullo
(R-IL) have heard our outcries and introduced H.R.
2060, The Internet Radio Equality Act.
Let's keep up the momentum & let our representatives
know what our music means to us. E-mail or call your
congressperson TODAY to ask them to co-sponsor H.R.
2060.
