Comedian-Richard Jeni-suicide?

What is up with this? I am a huge fan of comedy and I thought Richard Jeni was one of the best.

I saw this news blurb last night, just as I was about to turn off the tv and go to sleep. Needless to say I was so surprised and saddened to hear this.

I was very shocked also. It's so sad that someone who provided so much laughter for others could feel so much pain himself that he had to resort to suicide. He was a very good comic. I remember seeing him at a local comedy club after his first big cable special. I surprised my husband who I was dating at the time with tickets for Christmas. We laughed till we cried. Now I cried when I heard this awful news. Rest in peace Mr Jeni- you will be missed.
